Kian is a mental health therapist who graduated with their master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in April of 2021. Kian focuses on the treatment of eating disorders, as well as working with the LGBTQ population. He also enjoys working with folks around issues of relationships and intimacy, spirituality and meaning making, and exploration of male identity and masculinity. Kian takes a relational and attachment-based approach to therapy and values creating a trusting and kind relationship between client, horse, and therapist. In his free time, Kian enjoys riding horses and spending time with his two cats. Kian began volunteering with Hold Your Horses in May of 2021 and joined as a staff member in August of 2021.
