Hold Your Horses supports best practices in the field of equine assisted therapy. We have collaborated on research with the Wilder Foundation and Children’s Hospital of Minnesota. Click here to view the publication of “Hippotherapy in Rehabilitation Care for Children with Neurological Impairments and Developmental Delays: A Case Series” in Pediatric Physical Therapy. This study was initiated Janet Weisberg and principle investigator Kathryn Kraft. Kathryn provided equine assisted physical therapy at Hold Your Horses before moving to Wisconsin in 2017.
The beauty of owning a forever home is that Hold Your Horses’ facilities can be readily translated into a comfortable, hands on, training site. HYH is regarded as providing best practices for interdisciplinary equine assisted services in a professional and natural environment.
